They sell amazing tights at pretty good prices- and ever since the 'seconds' shop Bodgers shut down I've found myself at a lose as to where to buy fashion tights at a snip of the price.

My gift to you- a couple of my finds:

Suspender tights; all the sexiness with minimal fuss.

Hold up tights; all the cuteness without all that 'hitching up'.

I'm a huge fan of Tom Binns, a jewellery designer whose designs are favoured by people like Michelle Obama and SJP in 'Sex and the City'.

And as a jewellery collector, only one thing stands in the way of me buying it all... and that's the price.

But thank the powers that be for 'Disney' (who'd ever think they'd hear me say that?!)

Disney Couture have comissioned Tom Binns to create a range of jewellery for Alice In Wonderland- my favourite childhood Disney film and book.

It's a win/ win situation!

They're bang on trend with the current British obssession with Keys, Vintage, Alice In Wonderland, Kooky feel that we have going on.

They'll go great with either the floral/ hippy/ festival or rock chick look.

The Kool Aid Kid's Latest Style Crush

I love me some boots.

At last count... I had 10 new (as in, this year alone) pairs in my wardrobe.

I thought I would share my latest crush with y'all.



Dr Martens.

We all remember them.

I had a purple pair when I was a kid.

I'm currently craving the Triumph 1914 Boot

They're soooooo pretty.

I would wear this pair with skinny jeans or jeggings and an ultra feminine top (I dont do floral) just for a bit of contrast.

Jewellery is key to keeping this look urban/rockabilly.

I would have my trusted charm bracelets on anyway, then on the same arm I'd pull the 'Kool Aid Kid' signature bracelet look: layer lots - and I mean LOTS- of bracelets on one arm and stop them from flying off my arm by putting my BAPE G-Shock toy watch on.

A long multipul rope chain and a HUGE pair of hoops and I'm good to go.

Onto my second crush of the moment....

I think I'm loving the patents... I just worry these'll be a bit much for a day to day thing.

Not that I care.

But I have 3 pairs of patent shoes and really only wear my chunky heel brogues.

Following on from my previous post, I thought I should let rockabilly jewellery fans in on my latest find.

I have a serious problem...

I'm addicted to jewellery.

"We've heard that before" I hear you chorus...

But no. You haven't quite seen it like this before.

I spend my money on three things for myself; Food, Books and Jewellery.

I developed an interest in charm bracelets when I was 14- and begged till I was I bought a pre 1900's bracelet from the vintage market in Greenwich.

I now seem to have a charm bracelet (or charm) from every country I have visited, every birthday, Christmas and anniversary- from several boyfriend's, my Mama, family and friends.

So with my very first pay check ever, I bought myself a Thomas Sabo charm bracelet and butterfly charm.

Their latest collection though, has me drooling. It combines some of my greatest loves...

Motorbikes, men that are rebels... and silver jewellery *sigh*

I thought, why not share some hidden gems that I love?

I am a huge fan of the 1950's and 60's, some of my style icons include Mae West, Marilyn Monroe and Bette Davis.

I love 1960's Rock'n'Roll, Sock Hops and Dita Von Teese.

....I LOVE rockabilly.

I discovered http://www.ladyluckrulesok.co.uk/ randomly, in a supplement magazine of the Sunday Times in 2008.

And I purchased one of their personalised tattoo name necklaces- a bargain at just £15!

I have since gone on to buy several more pieces, purely because of the price and the look: sugar sweet with an edge.

After learning a little bit more about the rockabilly movement I began to research more online jewellery stores, because these sorts of pieces are not easy to come by n the british high street.

They to make personalised necklaces - a bit of a favourite of mine; no one can steal them and pass them off as their own (unless they have the same name as you) and it takes edge off the whole "what's your name?) thing in bars.

WARNING: You may actually think they're staring at your tits- and if you have a difficult name to pronounce/ the other party is drunk you may see them squinting and attempting to sound out the sylables... Oh dear.
